Having returned to the comforts of the house, Grace enlists Mary to help her get everyone a drink or snacks as it is not quite lunchtime yet. That sorted, she finds herself in the living area with these people she knew little about but feels a strange sort of protectiveness and kinship toward.

“Silo, do we have the room to accommodate Aron and his girls?”

“We have ample space. It should not be a problem.” He nods and, reacting to a head dip from Grace, starts off to prepare a space for the children.

“If he gets to stay, I want to also,” Ryder announces.

Grace purses her lips, “Okay.” Her voice is unsure, and her brows knit as Kason waves his arm to chime in.

“Me too.” His smile is wide.

“Are you going to want to share my bed too? If so, I think I may need a bigger bed.” She says more to herself than the males watching her.

Ryder laughs. “I am sure that bed can fit like twenty guys. It is huge.”

Grace tilts her head in agreement as Aron studies her.

“May I sleep in your bed as well?”

The question causes Kason and Ryder to groan dramatically.

“Don’t tell me she is your mate too?” Kason sighs, making Aron blush to his ears.

“Angels know how?” Graces asks, and Silo, who paused in his leaving, looks from one male to the next.

“By your aura, Angels see the subtleties, and when you are compatible, there is a movement, like a band that leads straight to each other.”

“So, no mistakes?” Grace nods, “I guess if you want to, I don’t mind.” She looks to Kason and Aron, who grin happily. “But I have a no-touching rule in place.”

All faces drop as Silo snickers and then takes his leave. Sitting back in the comfort of the sofa, Grace’s mind starts to wander, and she cannot help but speak her thoughts.

“Uncle Lit said I would have a few mates. That’s like three or four. There are three here now, so I guess one more.”

Kason turns his head to Ryder, “I feel this is all on you. How many of us did you text?”

“Not counting, father? Five.”

“Leaving three yet to appear.” Kason shakes his head.

“That’s several, not a few? Six? What do I do with six mates?” Grace begins to sound mighty worried.

“Plenty, just remember even God rests on the seventh day.” Ryder teases, gaining caws from the crows.
